...Light Wintry Mix Tonight...
A light wintry mix of rain, snow, and sleet will continue across
far northern Illinois this evening, gradually transitioning to a
drizzle or spotty light rain area wide by midnight. As
temperatures drop to near freezing overnight, some of this may
fall as freezing drizzle and could result in a light glaze of ice
and hazardous travel conditions. If this were to occur, some of
the slick conditions would likely linger into early Friday
morning.
Plan for possible extra travel time in far northern Illinois
overnight into early Friday morning.
