THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Elevated Fog Risk.
Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Areas along and north of Interstate 88 may see rain mixed with
snow tonight. A few areas may experience brief periods of
freezing drizzle, but little to no ice accumulation is expected.
Snowfall of less than a half an inch is possible north of
Interstate 88.

Fog is expected areawide overnight.

Friday...
Elevated Fog Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.
Sunday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.
Monday...
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

There is a chance for snow on Sunday. A very cold air mass will
move into the area on Sunday night, with minimum wind chills
possibly below zero overnight into the early morning hours Monday
through Wednesday.
