THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Today's snow is tapering off but there still could be some snow
showers this evening which briefly could lower visibilities and
cause dangerous traveling conditions. Temperatures also will be
falling and winds will be increasing overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Significant Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Tuesday...
Significant Excessive Cold Risk.
Wednesday...
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Thursday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Friday and Saturday...
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Cold temperatures and blustery winds early in the week will
produce dangerous wind chills near 20 degrees below zero at times
Monday and Tuesday. The cold air sticks around through the week,
but winds will not be quite as strong as tomorrow and Tuesday.
