THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Thunderstorm Wind Damage Risk...up to 60 MPH.
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Limited Fire Weather Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Winds gusting to 45 to 50 mph at times will continue through
tonight.

Thunderstorms are likely, mainly for a couple hour window this
evening as a strong cold front moves from west-to-east across the
area. While the highest severe weather threat is generally west of
the area, isolated strong to severe storms are possible across
north central Illinois mainly along and west of I-39. Given the
already strong winds, it is possible for any storm or shower to
produce gusts in excess of 50 mph areawide.

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
