THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday Night...
Elevated Snow Risk.
Saturday...
Elevated Snow Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

The season's first light snow accumulation for much of the area
is forecast Friday night and Saturday morning. Snowfall rates at
times could briefly be heavy, and accumulation by Saturday
morning of 1 to 3 inches is expected. This could lead to hazardous
travel conditions.

In addition, lake effect snow is likely to continue into far
northwest Indiana throughout Saturday. Combined with potentially
strong winds off of Lake Michigan, this could make for treacherous
travel conditions.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
