THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Elevated Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Accumulating light snow will develop across the area this
evening, and persist overnight. Snowfall amounts are expected to
range from an inch or less south of an approximately Rockford to
Joliet to Rensselaer Indiana line, and 1 to 2 inches north of
that line. Snow should taper off quickly across northern
Illinois by Saturday morning. Snow may create slippery road
conditions.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Saturday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk in northwest Indiana
near Lake Michigan.
Elevated Snow Risk in northwest Indiana.

DISCUSSION:

Lake effect snow will develop into parts of northwest and north
central Indiana Saturday morning. Heaviest snow is expected to
be across northeast Porter county, where a total of 3 to 5 inches
of accumulation are possible by Saturday evening. Heavier lake
effect snows are expected east of Michigan City.
