THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Lake effect snow showers will affect portions of northwest Indiana
today, particularly Porter county and areas to the east. Minor
accumulations, generally less than an inch, are expected. Reduced
visibility and slippery road conditions may be encountered. Heavier
lake effect snows will occur east of Porter county.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday...
Elevated Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Another clipper system will bring snow to areas north of I-80
Wednesday. Accumulating snow is expected north of a Poplar Grove
to Monee Illinois to Kouts, Indiana line. Lake effect snow
will linger over northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana
Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
