...Ill-Time Light Snow This Afternoon and Early This Evening...
Light snow will develop during the early to mid afternoon hours
and continue through early evening. Snow is not expected to be
particularly heavy and most areas will only see a dusting to
possibly an inch of accumulation, however, the antecedent very
cold conditions will result in any snow that falls immediately
sticking on untreated roadways.
The light snow is expected to adversely impact afternoon commute
times and persons planning travel this afternoon should be
prepared to encounter slippery roads and leave extra time to reach
intended destination.
