This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk.
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Limited Excessive heat Risk.

DISCUSSION...

It will be another hot and humid day with heat indices peaking
around 100 this afternoon. The heat and humidity will help fuel
thunderstorm development this afternoon and evening. Some of these
thunderstorms may produce isolated very heavy rainfall totals. In
addition, there is a slight chance of an isolated storm or two
becoming severe with damaging winds the primary threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Thursday and Friday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Due to the isolated nature of any severe weather, spotters
activation is not anticipated. However, spotters are encouraged
to relay any reports of severe weather or flooding.
