...Scattered Strong Storms this Evening...
Scattered thunderstorms are expected to continue across northern
Illinois and northwest Indiana through much of the evening.
Any thunderstorm will be capable of producing wind gusts to 50
mph. Torrential rainfall and frequent lightning are occurring with
these storms, with localized flooding possible due to the slow
motion. Individual storm motion is east-southeast at 15 to 20 mph.
