This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Excessive heat Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and evening with the
main chances near the I-88 and I-80 corridors. Strong gusty winds
and locally heavy rainfall will be the main threats with any
thunderstorm activity today.
Before thunderstorms develop, heat indices may reach 97 to 101
degrees for locales near and south of I-88.

Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Monday...
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Tuesday and Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:
Isolated thunderstorms are possible again on Sunday with
additional periodic chances Tuesday through the end of the week.
Heat indices in the mid 90s are expected Sunday through
Wednesday. Heat indices may climb towards or in excess of 100
degrees on Thursday. Overnight low temperatures all next week
will also be oppressive bringing little relief from the heat and
humidity.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
