Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Excessive heat Risk.
High Swim Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk
DISCUSSION...
A cold front will continue to move through the area with scattered
thunderstorms likely through early evening, mainly along and south
of I-80. A few strong to severe storms are expected, with damaging
winds and heavy downpours the main threats.
In addition, strong and gusty north winds will result in dangerous
swimming conditions and some lakeshore flooding.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

High Swim Risk
Monday and Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Thursday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Strong and gusty north winds will result in dangerous swimming
conditions and some lakeshore flooding on Sunday.
A cold front moving through the region will result in chances for
thunderstorms on Tuesday and especially on Wednesday.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Due to the isolated nature of any damaging downburst, spotter
activation is not currently anticipated today. However, reports of
any wind gusts, damage, and precipitation reports are
appreciated.
