This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Significant Excessive heat Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Heat to dangerous levels will be in place across the entire area
through Saturday. Very warm overnight temperatures will offer
little relief from the heat and humidity, especially in the urban
heat island of Chicago.

There is also a small chance for thunderstorms overnight over
far northern Illinois.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Significant Excessive Heat Risk.
Sunday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
High Swim Risk
Monday...
High Swim Risk

DISCUSSION:

Heat to dangerous levels will continue for the entire area
through Saturday. Heat indices will climb back to around 110
degrees for much of the area on Saturday.

Strong thunderstorms along with a heavy rainfall and some flash
flood risk are possible over the area late Saturday through
Sunday morning.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east southeast at 10 to 20 mph.
