This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Overnight.
Weather hazards expected...
Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to nickel size.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected to move back
into at least a portion of northern Illinois and northwest
Indiana overnight. Some of these storms will likely produce
heavy rainfall rates, which could result in isolated flooding.
In addition, any organized storms may have some damaging wind
threat.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Thursday.

Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Monday...
High Swim Risk
Friday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Thunderstorms are likely for at least a portion of the area
Sunday morning, with scattered thunderstorms potentially
continuing south of Interstate 80 Sunday afternoon and evening.
Some of these may be severe and also have a heavy rain and
flooding threat.
Increasing northerly winds Sunday into Monday will build waves
along Lake Michigan beaches, likely creating dangerous
conditions for swimmers Sunday night into Monday.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is becoming more unlikely for the
remainder of tonight.
GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:
Moving toward the east southeast at 30 mph.
