FOR NORTHERN LAKE...NORTHEASTERN DE KALB...NORTHWESTERN KANE AND
MCHENRY COUNTIES...
At 435 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Beach Park to near Marengo, moving east at 45
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Waukegan, Gurnee, Algonquin, McHenry, Woodstock, Zion, Grayslake,
Libertyville, Round Lake, Antioch, Beach Park, Wauconda, Fox Lake,
Harvard, Lake Villa, Island Lake, Marengo, Genoa, Wonder Lake and
Pistakee Highlands.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
