This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Excessive heat Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible
this afternoon and into the evening. While severe weather is not
expected, the strongest storms could produce brief wind gusts to
near 50 mph. In addition, locally heavy rainfall could lead to
isolated instances of mainly minor flooding.

Additional storms may develop in southern Wisconsin through the
afternoon hours. These could then drift into locales near and
north of I-88 through the mid to late evening. Brief gusty winds
and locally heavy rainfall would be the main threats with this
activity.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Limited Flooding Risk mainly south of I-80.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk mainly south of I-88.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk mainly south of I-80.
High Swim Risk
Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A cold front will bring additional shower and thunderstorm chances
to the region on Friday. In addition, strong and gusty north winds
may result in the development of dangerous swimming conditions
Saturday afternoon and evening.

A low risk for thunderstorms will linger south of I-80 on Sunday
with additional chances returning to the area on Tuesday and
Wednesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight although
reports of strong wind gusts and rainfall are appreciated.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east northeast at 15 mph.
