This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk mainly south of I-88.
Limited Lakeshore Flooding Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk south.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk south.
High Swim Risk.

DISCUSSION...

A cold front will bring shower and thunderstorm chances to the
region today, especially along and south of I-88 this afternoon.
In addition, strong and gusty north winds this afternoon and
evening will result in the development of dangerous swimming
conditions and some lakeshore flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday...
High Swim Risk
Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A cold front moving through the region will result in chances for
thunderstorms on Tuesday and especially on Wednesday.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the southeast at 20 mph.
