Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Excessive heat Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms will pop up across the area this afternoon and evening.
Cloud to ground lightning... strong gusty winds... and a brief heavy downpour are the
threats with these storms. Be ready to move indoors quickly if/when skies darken and
storms approach your location.
Before thunderstorms develop, heat indices may reach 97 to 101.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Monday...
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Tuesday and Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:
Isolated thunderstorms are possible again on Sunday with
additional periodic chances Tuesday through the end of the week.
Heat indices in the mid 90s are expected Sunday through
Wednesday. Heat indices may climb towards or in excess of 100
degrees on Thursday. Overnight low temperatures all next week
will also be oppressive bringing little relief from the heat and
humidity.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:
Moving toward the southeast at 25 to 30 mph.
