200 PM CDT FOR LAKE...NORTHERN KANE...SOUTHEASTERN MCHENRY AND
NORTHWESTERN COOK COUNTIES...
At 1252 PM CDT, multiple stream gauges indicated ongoing rapid rises
due to earlier heavy rainfall. Although rainfall has moved out of
the area and no additional rainfall is expected, minor flooding of
urban drainages and small streams may continue as water drains out
of the area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
