Snow will continue through early to mid afternoon across northern
Illinois. Northerly winds gusting to 25 to 30 mph will create
areas of shallow blowing snow in open areas. Patchy slick spots
may be seen on untreated area roads. Allow extra travel time to
reach your destination.
