Elevated Flooding Risk.
Tuesday...
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

After areas of morning dense fog, heavy rainfall is expected across the
region Monday through early Wednesday. Several inches of rain may fall in some
locations. The combination of heavy rain, snowmelt, and frozen ground will
result in rapid runoff and rises on area streams and rivers.

Given the heavy rainfall, flooding is a concern on numerous rivers and
streams, including the Kankakee, Illinois, Des Plaines, Dupage, Rock,
Pecatonica, and Little Calumet rivers. The Kankakee River at Shelby
may reach major flood stage.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
