THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Light to moderate snow will fall across areas north of Interstate
80 this morning and end by early this afternoon. There will be a
chance of light snow south of Interstate 80 this morning along
with a slight chance of freezing drizzle.
Another period of light to moderate accumulating snow will spread
across the area late this evening into early Sunday morning. A
wintry mix is possible south of a Gibson City to Rensselaer line.
Localized ice jam flooding will be possible on area rivers.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.
Monday...
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Light snow will end during late Sunday morning with minor snow
accumulations possible.
Wind chills 10 below to 15 below zero are possible Sunday night
into Monday morning.
Localized ice jam flooding will be possible on area rivers.
