Illinois...
Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater affecting Kane and McHenry Counties
.Synopsis...Heavy rainfall will continue through early evening, with
additional rainfall up to one half of an inch expected. The
combination of recent rainfall, frozen ground, and some snow melt
will result in flooding.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and
find an alternate route.

* from this evening until further notice.
* At 130 PM Tuesday the stage was 8.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage late this evening and continue
to rise to near 9.8 feet by Wednesday morning.
