THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.
Limited Snow and Sleet Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A mix of light freezing rain, light sleet, and light snow is
possible late tonight into early Thursday morning for areas south
of the Kankakee river valley in Illinois and Indiana. Minor ice,
snow, and sleet accumulation is possible.

Many area rivers are in flood due to recent rain and snow melt.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday...
Elevated Ice Accumulation Risk.
Friday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A series of systems will bring the potential for periodic
precipitation to the area into the weekend. Some of this may fall
as light freezing rain in some spots, primarily Thursday night
into early Friday. A wintry mix is once again possible late Friday
night into early Saturday.

Most area rivers will remain in flood.
