...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST THURSDAY...
The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a Dense Fog
Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CST Thursday.
* VISIBILITY...Falling to one quarter mile or less this evening.
Visibility in urban areas may remain a bit higher at times,
particularly in Cook County. Rapid changes in visibility are
possible.
* IMPACTS...Poor visibility in areas of dense fog will make for
hazardous travel.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down...
use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
