THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.
Significant Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Periods of Snow will continue into this evening, especially around
the I-80 corridor.

Another round of light accumulating snow is expected late
tonight with a chance of a wintry mix across parts of Benton
County after midnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Saturday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk.
Sunday...
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.
Monday...
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Light snow will end Saturday morning with a second round of
light accumulating snow early Saturday night through midday
Sunday. There is a chance of a wintry mix across portions of
east central Illinois and northwest Indiana...mainly south
of a Gibson City to Rensselaer line.

Wind chills as low as 10 below zero are possible Sunday night
into Monday morning.

Localized ice jam flooding will be possible on area rivers.
