THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Strong low pressure moving through the area will bring rain and a
few evening thunderstorms. Winds will increase as the low nears
the area tonight, and gusts in the 40 to 45 mph range are briefly
possible late tonight after the passage of a cold front associated
with the low.

Numerous area rivers will remain in flood.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Strong winds behind a cold front will support gusts in the 30 to
40 mph range on Sunday, especially in the morning. Another strong
low pressure system could bring similar winds on Thursday but
there is less certainty regarding this later system.

Numerous area rivers will remain in flood.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
