Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater affecting Kane and McHenry
Counties
Fox River at Montgomery affecting Kane and Kendall Counties
.Rainfall of one half to three quarters of an inch Wednesday night
into Thursday is expected to slow the fall of water levels on the Fox
River, and may actually cause a slight rise.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and
find an alternate route.

* until further notice.
* At 730 PM Tuesday the stage was 9.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise to near 10.1 feet by Friday
morning then begin falling.
