THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Limited Fog Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Patchy fog is possible tonight, mainly outside of Chicago.
Localized ice jam flooding will remain a threat on area rivers.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk at night mainly south of I-80.
Limited Fog Risk in the morning.
Monday...
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Ice Accumulation Risk at night.
Limited Sleet and/or Snow Risk at night.
Wednesday...
Limited Ice Accumulation Risk in the morning.
DISCUSSION:
An unseasonably mild and moist air mass late Sunday night through
much of Tuesday will result in a risk for heavy rainfall in
showers and thunderstorms. The combination of the heavy rainfall,
frozen grounds, and snow melt will result in rises on area streams
and rivers and may result in flooding. As colder air moves back
into the area Tuesday night into early Wednesday, a wintry mix
including freezing rain and sleet is possible for portions of the
area.
Localized ice jam flooding will remain a threat on area rivers.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
