NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Fog Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Dense fog is possible along the lakefront this afternoon and
evening with a chance of dense fog area wide tonight. There is
also a chance of a thunderstorm or two tonight, mainly south of
I-80.
Portions of many area rivers will remain in flood.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Thursday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk
DISCUSSION:
A storm system will bring a variety of potentially hazardous
weather to the area Thursday. There is a slight chance of a
thunderstorm in the morning and early afternoon, possibly
producing heavy snow. There is a chance of accumulating snow as
well, mainly north of I-80. Winds could gust over 40 mph,
especially near the lake. High waves could result in localized
flooding near the lake as well Thursday.
Portions of many area rivers will remain in flood, with some
renewed rises possible from the rain tonight into Thursday.
