...DENSE FOG ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CST THIS
AFTERNOON...
* VISIBILITY...Varying, but to one quarter mile or less at times.
Some improvement is possible by early afternoon beginning across
areas farthest north, with the best visibilities across Lake
County Illinois.
* IMPACTS...Poor and rapidly changing visibility in areas of
dense fog will make for hazardous travel.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down...
use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
