* VISIBILITY...One quarter mile or less. Visibility in urban
areas may remain a bit higher at times, particularly in Cook
County. Rapid changes in visibility are possible.
* IMPACTS...Poor visibility in areas of dense fog will make for
hazardous travel.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down...
use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
