WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Gusty winds could cause areas of blowing snow, mainly in far northwest
Indiana through early evening. Bitterly cold wind chill values of
about 10 to 20 below zero can be expected overnight.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Monday and Tuesday...
Elevated Snow Risk.
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Wednesday through Friday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
DISCUSSION:
The next round of accumulating snow will arrive Monday afternoon
with several inches expected and significant travel impacts likely
to the Monday evening commute. Light snow accumulations are then
likely for at least portions of the area Tuesday night into
Wednesday morning. Finally, accumulating snow is again possible
Thursday night through Friday night.
Periods of sub zero wind chills are likely through the week.
