NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Accumulation snow is likely through this afternoon, with highest
amounts over northwestern Indiana near Lake Michigan.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk.
Wednesday through Saturday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Another round of accumulating snow is likely Monday afternoon
through Monday evening, with several inches of snow possible.
Snow is possible for parts of the area late Tuesday into Tuesday
night, with current indicators suggesting that locations south of
Interstate 80 will be most likely to see additional snow. Periods
of sub zero wind chills are likely at times through the period.
