Elevated Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Light snow accumulations are likely, mainly overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday...
Elevated Snow Risk.
Limited Coastal Flooding Risk for Cook County and northwest Indiana.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk at night.
Monday...
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.
Wednesday through Friday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Light accumulating snow will persist into early Sunday afternoon.
Another round of accumulating snow is likely Monday afternoon
through Monday evening, with several inches of snow possible.
Snow is again possible for parts of the area later Tuesday into
Tuesday night depending on the track of the low pressure area,
with current indications favoring locations south of Interstate
80 if snow does occur. Periods of sub zero wind chills are likely
at times through the period.
