THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Elevated Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A period of snow is expected to begin late this afternoon over
northern Illinois, near the Wisconsin border. Snow will spread
south through the evening and overnight. Up to 3 to 5 inches is
expected close to the lakefront, with accumulation decreasing
away from the lake.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday and Monday...
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Wednesday...
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Thursday and Friday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Periods of accumulating snow are likely Monday afternoon through
Monday night and again Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday
night. Below zero wind chills are likely at times Sunday night
through Thursday.
