This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected near a cold
front this afternoon and evening. No severe weather is expected.
A few storms could produce heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Wednesday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Thursday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Additional waves of showers and thunderstorms will be possible on
Wednesday and into Thursday. There is a low potential that a few
storms on Wednesday may become strong to severe mainly well south
of I-80. The threat for strong to severe thunderstorms will spread
to locales roughly east of I-55 on Thursday.

While widespread heavy rainfall is not anticipated on Wednesday
and Thursday, thunderstorms could produce locally heavy rainfall
which could lead to some renewed river rises and additional
flooding through the end of the week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward east at 30 mph.
