...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT SATURDAY...
The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of Illinois and northwest Indiana, including the
following areas, in Illinois, Boone, Cook, De Kalb, DuPage,
Grundy, Kane, Kendall, La Salle, Lake, Lee, McHenry, Ogle,
Will, and Winnebago. In northwest Indiana, Lake.
* Until 10 AM CDT Saturday
* Showers and thunderstorms will be possible across the watch area
overnight which will be capable of producing locally heavy
rainfall. Soils are saturated across the region, and any heavier
rainfall rates may result in areas of flash flooding, along
with additional rises on area rivers.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
