DISCUSSION:

A few thunderstorms will be possible Thursday morning into early
afternoon, though severe weather is unlikely during that time
frame. Thunderstorm chances will increase Thursday evening,
especially north of Interstate 80, and then spread slowly south
through the night. Some of these storms could become strong to
severe with a threat for large hail and strong wind gusts. There
will also likely be a stripe of heavy rainfall in the area
Thursday night, and that could result in some flooding.

An unsettled pattern across the middle of the country will
continue through early next week bringing periodic thunderstorm
chances, and possibly a couple severe storm threats for the local
area.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
