This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Elevated Tornado risk.
Elevated hail risk...to golf ball size.
Elevated damaging wind risk...to 70 mph.
Elevated Flooding Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms will end from west to east early this
evening. The strongest storms will be capable of producing large
hail and damaging winds. Isolated tornadoes will also be possible.
Torrential rainfall will also be possible with these storms which
may lead to localized flash flooding through early evening.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Wednesday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Thursday and Friday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Saturday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Scattered thunderstorms will be possible Tuesday...mainly along and
south of Interstate 80 during the day. These storms may become strong
but severe weather is not expected.
There will be a better chance of thunderstorms Tuesday night into
Wednesday morning. These storms may become severe and also may
produce heavy rain which may lead to localized flash flooding.
There will be another period of showers and thunderstorms on Thursday.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotters will be needed through early this evening and possibly again
Tuesday night.
GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:
Moving toward the east at 30 mph.
