This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Elevated hail risk...up to half dollar size.
Elevated damaging wind risk...up to 70 mph.
Limited Tornado risk.
Significant Flash Flood Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms are likely this morning, however severe
weather is not expected this morning.
Thunderstorms could re-develop late this afternoon, but are more
likely tonight. Some of these storms could be severe with large
hail and damaging winds the primary threats, though there is a low
end tornado risk as well. Some of the storms could produce
torrential rainfall which could result in localized flash
flooding tonight.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Sunday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Monday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
DISCUSSION:
While there will be many dry hours, there will also be periodic
bouts of showers and thunderstorms. Some potential does exist for
both severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall resulting in
flooding.
