Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms are possible late tonight, mainly south
of I-80. Severe weather is not expected at this time, however, a
few stronger storms with small hail are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday...
Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Significant Flooding Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Sunday and Monday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Tuesday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Warm and humid air lingering over the area will support ongoing
thunderstorm chances through the forecast period, with stronger
storms possible Friday evening and again Saturday afternoon.

Additional heavy rainfall is possible this weekend, that could
lead to renewed river rises and isolated flash flooding.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east around 40 mph late tonight.
