This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to nickel size.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 50 or 60 mph.

DISCUSSION...

Widely scattered to scattered thunderstorms are likely to develop
this afternoon. While some thunderstorm activity is expected
across most of the outlook area, the greatest coverage is
expected generally near and south of Interstate 80. Scattered
thunderstorms will continue into the evening hours, mainly south
of I-80. Conditions are not expected to be particularly favorable
for severe weather, however a few of the storms could briefly
become strong to possibly severe with very localized damaging wind
threat and perhaps some hail as well.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Tuesday and Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters will likely not be needed today due to the isolated
nature of any severe weather.
