This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Elevated hail risk...up to quarter size.
Elevated damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Tornado risk.
Elevated Flooding Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms will move northeast across the area through
early overnight. The strongest storms will be capable of producing
some hail and possibly strong wind gusts... especially south of I-80.
Thunderstorms will end by or shortly after daybreak in most locations.
Temporary heavy rainfall with some of the storms may cause isolated
flash flooding or ponding of water in low spots.
Otherwise, flooding to continue on portions of area rivers.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Monday.
Thursday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Friday and Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Monday and Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Flooding will continue on area rivers.

While some severe storms are possible overnight, spotter activation
is not anticipated.
