...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST
TUESDAY NIGHT...
* WHAT...Heavy, wet snow and dangerous travel conditions expected.
Total snow accumulations in excess of 6 inches and northwesterly wind
gusts in excess of 40 mph expected.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Illinois.
* WHEN...Until midnight CST Tuesday night.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow rates will exceed 1 inch per hour at
times early Tuesday morning and again Tuesday afternoon. The
strongest winds will occur Tuesday evening.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
