Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Accumulating snow is likely tonight, especially north of I-80
this evening, and also near and south of a Pontiac Illinois to
Valparaiso Indiana line, mainly after midnight. Some areas could
pick up 1 to locally 3 inches by morning leading to slick travel
for the morning commute.

Localized ice jam flooding will continue along some rivers.

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk.
Friday...
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Significant Snow Risk mainly Porter County.

DISCUSSION...

Very cold wind chills are expected again Friday into Sunday.

Widespread accumulating snow is likely to adversely impact travel
Thursday night into early Friday morning.

Locally heavy lake effect snow may occur Friday into Friday night
for areas in northwest Indiana, especially close to Lake
Michigan.

Localized ice jam flooding will continue along some rivers.
