...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST
TUESDAY...
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation. Additional snow accumulations of up
to two inches and ice accumulations around one tenth of an
inch.
* WHERE...Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Lake IL and Ogle Counties.
* WHEN...Until noon CST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions will impact the evening and Tuesday morning
commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Freezing drizzle will be possible this
evening before more impactful freezing rain develops late this
evening and continues overnight. The freezing rain may mix with
and change to a period of wet snow early Tuesday morning. If
this change over occurs, some wet snow accumulations up to 2
inches are possible Tuesday morning.
