Limited Ice Jam Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Wind chills -15 to -30 are expected through Wednesday morning.

Patchy blowing and drifting snow may occur in open areas of
interior northern Illinois this evening.

Localized ice jam flooding is occurring along some rivers.

DISCUSSION...

Dangerously cold wind chills will continue through Wednesday
morning, and return again Friday into Saturday.

A relatively narrow swath of accumulating snow will likely result
in hazardous travel for some areas late in the day Wednesday
through Thursday morning.

A period of accumulating snow is expected Thursday night into
Friday morning for the entire area. Lake effect snow may occur
Friday into Friday night for areas in northwest Indiana.

Localized ice jam flooding is likely along some rivers.
