...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CST /5 PM
EST/ THIS AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...A two to three hour period of moderate to heavy snow with
possible rates of 1 inch or more per hour during mainly the
early afternoon. Total snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches with
isolated higher. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph at times.
* WHERE...Portions of northwest Indiana and east central and
northeast Illinois.
* WHEN...Through 4 PM CST /5 PM EST/ this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Brief high snow rates, combined with gusty
southeasterly winds will lead to sharply reduced visibility.
Roads will also likely becoming snow covered for a time with
hazardous travel.
