This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Snow has begun this afternoon for areas roughly south of a Peru
to downtown Chicago Illinois line, and snow will arrive later this
evening for areas north. The heaviest snowfall rates, in excess
of one half inch per hour, will likely occur through this
afternoon and evening resulting in hazardous driving conditions
during the afternoon and evening commute. Lighter snow will linger
into the Thursday morning commute.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday...
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Additional light snow with minor snow accumulation will occur
during the day Thursday, and there is the possibility of
additional lighter lake effect snow Thursday night into early
Friday morning.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
